What size speakers?

How do I figure out what size speakers I have in my Jeep? I got them out and measured 5 1/2 inches...Well I got on Crutchfield and put in my vehicle and it all it showed me for speakers that matched my car is 6 1/2 for the doors...I looked in the manual but it doesn't say...Can anyone help me?

If you measured them, then thts what size they are. Maybe the original stock speakers have been upgraded at some point.
