What size speaker wire???

So for a two amp setup I should have a large wire from my battery to my ditribution block....and then have two other wires coming out of the distribution block going to my amps??? Also I do not need the fuse holder anymore right....just trade it with the distribution block...right?

If your changing sizes of wire at the distribution block, make sure its fused. If your just splitting a connection, say a 4 gauge into two 4 gauges, then you only need a fuse at the battery (assuming your amps have built in fuses).

Ok so how many fuses do i need for this setup??? I am running a 4 AWG wire to the fuse holder, then this will go to a distribution block which splits into a 4 gauge and an 8 gauge....then will i need two more fuses on those wires?????

PS: both amps have fuses

You will need a total of two fuses. One near battery for the 4 gauge, and then another for the 8 gauge. You should really look at that link I provided above.. It explains everything and even shows diagrams for different setups. Its alot easier if you understand what your actually doing instead of being a puppet to random instructions.

so i need the fuse by the battery, and then a distribution block to split into a 4 gauge and an 8 gauge....and thats it???????????????? who is right??? Do I need another fuse for the 8 gauge that is coming out of the distribution block???

PS: just to remind you I will have a 4 gauge going into the distribution block, and an 8 gauge an a 4 gauge coming out. The 4 gauge will go one amp....and the 8 gauge will go to the other amp

I am right.Put a fuse near the batt. 100 amp or so fuse in the fuse holder up there. Run it to the distro block, Have you 8 and 4 go into the amps. NO OTHER FUSES NEED. Jesus christ. It's not rocket science. The fuse will pop before the amps see the rise. And your amp fuses will pop before it ever sees the amp. SO just do as i say
