I am about to throw some subs an an amp into my car. I have decided to go with JL subs and a rockford amp. My question is, if I was to get two JL w6 12's, what size punch amp should I get to push them?? Do you think the w6s are worth the extra money over the w3's??? Thanks

You should only be paying $20-30 more for the w6's. So yes they are worth it.

The bd1000.1 will push 500 watts a piece into them, which should be enough. If you really like to push the envelope you can get the bd1500.1 which is 750 watts each. Its up to you. Personally I'd go with the bd1000.1. Running more than 500 watts a piece will void your warranty.
