What size fuse do you think?

I have a MBQuart DSC4125(100a fuse) and an MBQuart DSC1500.1D(2x70a fuses).

They are ran from 4 gauge wire from the battery to a non-fused dist block with a few feet of 4 gauge going to each amp.

What size fuse should I put under the hood? I think there's a 60a in line fuse currently... but that 60a fuse was there before I put the 1500.1 in.

after all, the bigger the fuse, the more watts your amp will send to the fuse

fine.... get a 150amp fuse. You wanna measure the total capacity of the wire itself, not how much power your amp is putting out.

I hope you sent 4 gauge to your 4125 and 0 gauge to your 1500. 8 gauge is way too small for that 4125

Nope. Got 4 gauge through the entire car.

Edit: Well technically I have 8 right now... upgrading it all to 4.

Alright, now I just popped for a dual amp 1/0 kit. $37... can't beat that.

it's bullsh!t wire my friend. dont buy it. You'll find out that the jacket surrounding the copper is actually 1/0, but the actual copper your getting is no bigger than a 12Guage, 8guage if your lucky....
