what size box

the only reason i ask is cuz i read on another forum about someone making a 3.5 Cubic foot box and he said it sounded really good. i was just wondering if anyone had done anything like make a bigger box for the 13w6 than recomended

also if i make the box to say 2.5 cubic feet how much wood can i add in the box to make it smaller if i dont like how it sounds?

Doing so will raise the tuning; you would need to build a better box.

I just picked up a 13w6v2 myself and was wondering what would be a good size for the sub, I know I can just do the JL spec box but wondering if anyone else has had good luck with custom sizes?
