What size box ported for this sub. What other options do I have besides this sub as well that would be cheaper? Would an Orion hcca be as good?

SQ makes good amps. You largely get what you pay for with amps, in my experience. Some are overpriced, but the good ones are expensive still and the crappy ones are cheap.

Soundqubed makes a good product. That amp will treat you well.
