What size box for ported Idmaxs?

I am trying to figure out the best box to run my pair of idmaxs ported, the spec sheets are just kinda confusing as to which is optimal they range from 2.0-2.7 I talked to Matt Borgardt and he sent me plans for a 2.3cu ft tuned to 28hz...I was thinking about 2.55 tuned to 32hz...what kind of difference would I see between the two?

word, i got my idmax 2.5 cubes @ 28 hz and it sounds pretty good

yea i second that, go with that design, i probably have the same one, its a slant front box, on a 10 degree slant, it sounds awesome, with some construction flaws(my first box) and a memphis amp that wasnt puttin out full power i hit 144.6db in my truck with that box setup, ive some pics somewhere if ya wanna see what it will look like when its done, lemme know

Well I didnt know what Id gain from 2.3cuft to 2.55cuft or going from 28hz to 32hz??

Well I am just thinking about going ahead with that box...I have no other recommendations from anyone and getting plans from Matt who has extensive testing with the sub this thing should work...
