What size amp should I get?

Hey everyone I'm really new to this whole ohm and wattage thing. I was given a sub a long time ago for free it was a kicker i don't much else but that's long gone. I bought an American Bass VFL Extreme from someone on here awhile back I never got around to installing it. And now I'm going ahead and getting this bad boy in. It runs at 1500 watt rms 3000watt peak. My question is what amp should I be getting? I don't want to spend $1000.00 but I need to know what size I should be looking for, good brands that won't let me down and if anyone knows if there's a good amp for sale on here for me! I'm only going to have the one 12" AB vfl in a ported box so I was thinking mono block? Let me know if you guys can help me

Yea I was thinking the 100.1 AB I asked bob today on a price I'm thinking around 350? I'll look into the saz 1000
