To push 3600 watts and still have 14.8 volts for the car. Well right now its getting 14.1 without the amp/subs on. 13.2 with them on...lights dim slightly but not much.
Read their is an equation for it. Watts/volts=Amps
Which is 244 amps...for a 250 amp alternator its about $300. WHICH is just a bit much IMO. Was planning on just doing maybe $1300 for another AP15001d+2 subs+4 component mid speakers+a 600 watt amp+a single large battery. WHICH the battery I also am not sure what to get.
SO YEA...how would I go about calculating it and am I truly going to have to pay $300? Was thinking more along the line of around $150-$200...preferably about $100 though lol. Also I guess what would you suggest for a battery. WELL...the amperage of a battery.
My plan is to take the first check after I get my car payed off and order a alternator, battery, and 0 gauge wiring for the big 3. Should have car payed off in about 3 weeks SO yea...it will be about 5 weeks till I get my first clear check. I like to plan ahead...
