@ 1 amp? Or @ 1 ohm?

Well, since I've been running over 2000RMS for years on my stock 90A alt, I don't think it's an absolute necessity to swap out. However, if you're going to, I wouldn't go with anything less than a 200A alt.

i emailed these guys a couple weeks ago, they said, rule of thumb, youll need about 70 amps per 1000 watts
