What should i get first in my install upgrade? Mp3 deck, Brahma, Componet, Amp, Box?

I'm willing to change my system. This is what i have now...

Panasonic DF-CQ602U, i think its the model name, with the 3D display, used for like 4-6 months i think, so still new. Forget!

4" Crystal Componets in the front, 1 " titanium dome tweeter. *Just got it, used for like 2 weeks*

5 1/4" Pioneer 2-way speakers, blue one, in the rear.

Punch300x 37.5 x 4 rms, pushing the highs

Punch500a2 Pushing my subs

2 12" Alpine Type-S DVC subs, used for like 2 weeks. Sitting in my closet, its in a 1.25cf MDF RT box...

So what should i get FIRST for my install!!

Pioneer Premiere MP740 MP3 Player, $279

1 Brahma 15" Sub $439

JBL1200.1 Amp $269.99

15" Box 2.0 sealed box MDF $44.99

Later on, when i get everything, get a Pioneer EQ 15 Band, Spectrum Analyzer $195

and new speakers or componets in the back.

So what should i get first to last?...

My g/f saying get the MP3 player, save alot of CDs and room!!! Or i should wing it, get the subs first.?!?!

I can probably make $220-$260 a week, Bus Boy tips, i make between $60-$110 tips a night, only 3 days i work a week. Plus i get my pay check like within every 2 weeks, and its like $175-300, not sure yet. So i can probably get my all stuff within several months. (if i sell my stuff soon and get alot of tips). If i my sell my deck and my box, deck for like 150-175 and the alpine subs with the box like

275-300 bucks. So i save 400-475 bucks i save. Can't wait!!

Help!!!!!

Dispite what everyone says, everyone likes more boom, myself included. Go for the sub/amp first, then the rest.

Yup! Step on that dog! Feel so bad, HEY! it was an accident, i probably might just get the Deck first, but i always wants to get a Mp3 Deck.

plus, if you satrt at teh source, you will know waht your system needs to be complete..

instead of getting subs, finding out taht you need more mids and highs, buy those, etc.

grab teh deck, then the speakers, then the amp for the speakers, thent eh subs.

Well the deck is still new, so theres nothing wrong with it, subwoofer outputs, high definition bass, not that much features. But if i get the Pioneer 740MP, i would be super stoked. Everything sounds fine right now, highs are good, the mids are good from the comps, But later on i will change the rear speakers, maybe just infinity kappaa or reference speakers or something else.

I'm thinking very hard what the hell i'm gonna get first!! right now i'm leaning towards the brahma because, $hit! Look at it, would you want that on your hands??? Also the MP3 deck is super awsome, save space for cds, you only need like 3cds, each cd contains more than 120 songs in it. Instead of 60cds in your car with only 18-20 on top of them. Also has alot of features more than the Panasonic.

I have 5 votes getting the Brahma sub, amp and box.

2 votes to get the Mp3 Player.... But if i get the Brahma and everything, for sure i'm going to get the Mp3 player deck....

"Someone told me wait untill end of this year after i my get brahma sub, the 2002 line decks will come cheaper than how it is now" Which is a good idea i think, so thats why i'm leaning towards the Brahma.

I said this regarding building a system. If you already have everything picked out, that is a different story. He already has a HU that will run the amps, so there is no rush for a HU, unless you are really lazy and can't change a CD every 30 minutes or so. I had an MP3 HU, and only had a single MP3 CD that I didn't even use all that often. Too many tracks to remember. That is why I said Brahma. If he had a stock system, the HU would be the wisest decision.

Mark_ab - Thanks!! I was going to get the MP3, so why not, go for the Brahma! Probably gonna take me 3-4 weeks to get it. Worth the wait! Than another 3-4 weeks for the AMP and the Box. So within 2-4 months i'll have it, not that long. Gonna fly by fast...
