what should I do???

I need to buy an amp(s) to power my apxx 18, should I strap two AQ 2200d's to it and run it at 2 ohms, or just buy the atomic 5000.1 and run it @.5 ohms??? If you have any other suggestions post em up.

atomic 5000.1- 5000 watts @ .5 ohms

I'd get either a Pyramid 5000 watt or Boss. I'd also sell that POS 18 and get you a real sub! Something like a Chaos or Phantom in the Boss series or a blue wave Pyramid. High quality gear for very nice prices!

In all seriousness though, you got the electrical to run 5000 @ 1/2 ohm? That's a load!

I have 2 xs d3100's in back and I am going to get an xs d975 under the hood, mechman 270 amp alt. I ll probably just go with the two aq's, it would be a lot less hard on my equipment.

Never had an 18. 8s, 10s and 12s. Never had the room for an 18. Wife has an Odyssey with a POS Fosgate p2 15 in it. Trying to convince her that an 18 is the way to go! So far she's not buying it....
