What Should I Do?

I have a 1999 VW passat with a Alpine CDA-9887 deck. Off of that I have a Eclipse EA3422 4 channel amp powering my 4 infinity kappa component speaker sets. Then I also have a MTX x500d amp powering my 12" JL w3. I went into my local car audio shop and was looking to replace the eclipse amp so i could put it in my boat because I only paid $80 for it and dont reallly care what happens to it. They told me to keep that and just buy all new for my boat. I have a Malibu Response LX with a high-end sony deck and 4 Rockford Fosgate Punch speakers in it. I want to make it sound good for a reasonable price so they quoted me for a 6 channel JL amp, 10" JL sub, box, and wiring kit. It came out to be like $700. Thats a little on the high side for me. I really dont know what to do now. The other question is should I run marine equipment? Im looking to stay under a flexible $500.
