What Should I Do?

[Kicker Rules!!!]

Ok I am thinking about upgrading my system. Right now I have 2 Kicker CompVR 12's. I was thinking about either getting 2 more of them and having 4 12's. Or I was also thinking about getting 2 12" L5's. Which do you think would have better SQL? if your gonnu stay with kicker get l7 not l5s. they're only like 50 dollars diffrence.

L5 and L7 perform almost the same, as a lot of people will tell you. I'de go with the 2 12"s, theres no reason for 4 decent subs, when you could just have 2 good ones that sound better. Kicker isnt known for SQL though, in the right install they can have some SQ but usually not. If your not stuck on "Kicker" then check out some of the brands on this forum... some of them might suit u better....

i dont know about the rest of the people on this forum but i really like the VR's for sql. i would go with those and have 4 of them.

yes, that is true, they have way better SQ than the L5's.. but ide say make the correct box for the L5/L7's and go that way still..

i hate vr's....but that's just me

a single 15" L7 on the same power you'd feed four vr's will wang....maybe not as loud, but will definatly sound better and last longer.

Thanks for your opinions. I don't think that I'm going to do anything right now. I just had to buy a new amp and that kind of drained the stereo fund. When I do decide to change it, can you guys give me an idea where I can get either one at a good price. has the l7s for $220 i think, you could prolly find them pretty cheap on ebay too. PEace
