What should i buy for subs or sub

hey i just sighned up for this form and i was wondering well i need subs or a sub i have a 1997 bmw 3series i want somthing loud clear and that will fit i dont really care about trunk space and i have some money left over from an insurance check i dont want to spend to much i dont know maby about 1000$ what sould i buy and what amp for it i see a lot of stuff about the XXX 15 are the good??? where can you buy them???website address Thanks a bunch
