I think you are fine with your baggage plans!!!!!I'm leaving in a couple weeks and tommorow the movers are comming to pick up my stuff and ship it out. So I have to set aside 3 suitcases to hold me over until I actually arrive (you can only bring 2 checked luggage, and one carryon on an airplane). Obviously besides laptop, clothes, toiletries what else am I missing?
I have one garmet bag with 2 full sets of work clothes, then I have a large green duffle bag which I plan to stuff with as much clothes as possible, then my last bag (my carry on) will have my laptop , tooth brush + tooth paste, small stuff? I've never lived off a suitcase before so I need some advice...

I typically follow one RULE...(regardless of why I am traveling)
As long as you have your passport, a few bucks and a credit card... you can worry about the rest LATER. You know this.
Apparently there are so many Douchbags around here that have never been around the block assume that once you leave the U.S. the rest of the world is a sweating nasty cesspool and that the U.S is the ONLY POSSIBLE place to live.
Good luck my friend and have a nice time abroad. I'm actually moving to another station soon as well in Nicaragua. Like U my luggage will follow. I am taking the essentials. I wont even bother with tooth brush. If it is a good airline that will be provided.
KOREA WILL BE FUN!!!
They told us to be sure to pack toiletries because the BX has a habit of running out of those types of supplies.I agree your good, besides you can get a shit load of clothes made over there for almost nothing and they are really good quality. I had a few ammo buddies stationed there in the past couple years. Some of the sports jerseys are just like the ones in the states, I've bought about 8 of them. I might have to hit you up. I lived off luggage when I got here to Turkey for almost 2 months.
PS. dont fall in the ditches.
i'm trying really really hard to get transfered there //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gifKorea, I will just settle for a duffle bag of clothes, garmet bag of work clothes, and carry on with laptop + small electronics.
if you played the game, you could be eligible for a civilian deploymenti'm trying really really hard to get transfered there //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

They asked me "are you ok with being deployed to iraq or afghanistan?"
I replied "hell ya!" //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif
