What should I add to my front stage?

I feel like the midbass/tweeters really aren't keeping up with my substage, they sound great but not that loud. (I still have yet to run an amp to them) I currently have the Pioneer D series component set.

I was looking at selenium tweeters & they look awesome, I know they can get loud but will they sound good? I'm mainly looking for tweeters that don't sound harsh, much like the ones I have now.

Any suggestions are accepted, even things people may be selling.

get rid of the pioneers they only take 60 watts rms ,get something that will take at least 100 watts rms or more and silk dome tweets

Agreed, but amp them first so you can figure what you do and do not like about them and then find something that fits

Best priced option? I got the pioneers for about 100 so they were pretty **** good for the price..

Its hard to recommend highs.. You need to go out and demo several different sets, they all sound a bit different.. We can recommend options if we know your price range, but expect to spend atleast $150 up on a good set new

^^^lots of options indeed. my OP is go to sonicelectronix and read some of the reviews. they have a lot of brands of tweeters there from 10-200 bucks. i bought mine there.

I don't see myself spending that much on a component set for a while, not saying its unreasonable just not at the time. But when it comes to that range I was looking at some lower level Focals & Morels.

good choices, but there are many others doing good things. Some lesser know companies and making some fair products. HAT, Incriminator, Crescendo

I honestly didn't even know incriminator had anything for front stage. i'll check it all out.

ok, so from reading your first post... are you looking for more mid bass, or more mid range?? VERY different things
