Well I am selling my 2 12" l5's and alphasonik pma2500. And wanting to go louder. Looking to spend around 550 for sub and amp or subs and amp. I was going to add another 12 but not sure if that will give me what I want. Just wondering what you guys think would be good to get. It is going in a extended can truck for now but soon to be a in car.

what is your goal for your setup? straight SPL, SQ, SQL? what do you want would be helpful first. if your going for a great SQL setup that gets megaloud but sounds great while doing so then i have a pretty good idea for you. but its all about what you want

Well first I explained why the triple post. I was using my blackberry at work and it did not sat the post was processed. Second I would like spl and sq if possible. Just trying to get louder than my current set up if it already wasn't loud enough,

Any other ideas I have been seeing alot of re audio stuff. I am wanting nasty loud bass, more i want both sq and spl if possible. Being able to do the hair trick would be killer. But I need something for everyday use, that would be reliable .

Also wanted to add would really like 15" or 18" sub or subs just for the knock out

No not 1 ohm stable but 1500 rms at 4 ohm bridged. I thought about the l7 15's but I am liking what I am hearing about the brands I have never heard of before like re

well if your looking for SQL then kicker isnt for you. but why bump up in size if you can get my 12" xxx and have it do everything you want?

y not look more into other things instead of taking other peoples advice? get what u want not wat other people want u to want. the XXX is a beast especially if its the 05 model. if i had a use for it i would buy it. just because they are hard to come by

you had 2 L7's, and you want to get louder with 1 12? i love the xxx, but you'll be disappointed. assuming you had the L7's in a decent box and a good install with your amp. i'd stay with 2 12's or do a single 15.

L7's why does everyone think I have l7's. I wish they are l5's but the box is made to specs ported to 28 hz and good amp set up well, and dear god they slam but I am always unsatisfied with anything . I like 12's but I kinda wanna to go larger maybe 1 or 2 15's or 1 18( as I imagine it would be a huge box). The car they would be going in would most likely be a 97 Acura 3.0 cl 2 door. I have seen some 15" fi bl's for sale and wonder if they would pound like crazy.

fi bl's would be alot better then your l5's, but again comes into the factor on what you want. if you want SQL then bl's arent gonna be for you, but xxx's will be. but if you just wanna get stupid loud and not worry about the quality aspect then go for the bl's.

i think you need to figure out exactly what you want first, and then figure out what your setup will be
