IB Setup in 04 IS300

The infinite baffle thread reminded me of a setup I did with my old co worker in his car and I thought I would post pics up of it. I don't have any of the build pics but I could get them if people are interested. If anybody hangs out on the my.is forum then you have probably seen these.

The setup is this:

Stock H/U

JL Clean Sweep

Genesis Components

Boston Rear 6x9

JL 10" Free Air (MArine Sub)

Boston 4 Channel

Boston 2 Channel

JL Remote Sub Controller (see pics)

Now the good part, we cut out his back deck and had tons of dynamat, foam and sealant to make this work...

Top View of the sub, we are going to do something better to cover it up but this still works fine....

Shot of inside the trunk with the lid close....we put some white lighting inside....

The IB setup sounds awesome, it has great SQ and the Subwoofer Knob really helps to control the output. Let me know what you guys think.

Looks great. Very nice craftsmanship going on there. I personally would've ditched the rear deck speakers and seal/reinforce them with 1/4" mdf to make the rear deck sturdier.

I tried telling him the same thing but he wanted rear fill because he likes driving people aroundin his car.

The whole back deck is completely filled with expanding foam so its still rock solid and no air leaks (from what we could tell)
