What oscilloscope should I buy

Not sure on that one because I am not an electronic wiz like some of these guys but if you just want something to set gains with and check head units for where they clip at the nano works great but as far as accuracy goes I am not to sure on that . Maybe one of the other guys will chime in ?

Why? What will you be using it for.

Just setting gains. I'm OCD about things. I just want to know I'm setting my gains accurately. I set them by ear and it sounds like it's not clipping, and there's no heat so it's probably not, but I just want to see how the Oscope compares to my ears.

I produce beats so my ear is fairly good. I know what distortion sounds like.

Oh OK. I mean if you want to learn honor it. Nano is a good start. Not really hard. I learned when I was in high school how to use one. I'm lazy nowadays and use the smd to set gains

Easy works great.

They also have a crossover calibration

Forgot about those and I have used one before and they are way easier and faster than setup of nano as it doesnt remember all the settings and niether do I lol - takes me a while to re figure it out each time !

Could I somehow use the DD-1 to set the gains on my LOC too? Like I have my stock HU going to my line out converter, then to the amp. I wonder if I could turn my HU to a certain volume, then connect the DD-1 to my line out converter, set the gain on that, and then set the gain on my amp like normal. But it's RCA out so idk if it would work.

I second this.

Works as good as an Oscope for half the price.

Definitely. Your Loc should have a gain
