honestly my opionions are probably skewed a bit because i have been thinking about getting one and turning it into an sq car. I say leave the probe alone. no matter how fast it goes its still a probe. what's the yearly cost on the 355? like up keep? then again im sure will spend a pretty penny on maintenance on the probe also...do the 355 for the hooeezzz

I guess going from a Corvette to a 355 is a little bit of an upgrade. I just hope the guy hasn't sold it by time I have the cash. One thing to also take into consideration, is the fact that a Ferrari requires about as much maintenance as a new born child. Every 3-5K miles you have to do a ton of stuff to it (can't remember off hand). When I was living in Vegas and was talking to some of the dealers up there, that's what they had told me.

A Porsche on the other hand is like a Honda when it come to maintenance and reliability. If I was seriously going to buy a somewhat exotic...I would get a 911 or 959 turbo.

well i'll do the up keep on either vehicle, so I don't know if thats a factor at all. I used to own two Fiats, and a Lancia Zagato and these Ferrari's use alot of the same parts/engineering.
