what makes the bass sound better outside car?

In my truck I could hardly hear anything standing right outside of it. I had 1 1000watt Strike series amp to each strike vc2 series 12 and an 800x4 strike series amp running mb quart reference components, mb quart reference mids, and some mb quart coax's in back, however everything was dynamated. I actually had an installer that had the nerve to brag about his friends car with 2 w3's and how it sounded louder outside than mine and my truck only sounds louder inside cuz it was a truck. I was like what the hell do I care if his sounds louder outside.

i agree with colb12 , i like to be heard outside my car. Not the fact that anoys people, but that people will be like damm that Shit is tight, especially here where i live, all cars that roll on my block they rattle the shit out of my windows.

I like to be heard outside my truck, but not while driving down the road. The only time I usually crank it up is when there is some kid next to me blaring his shitty system, so I turn mine up to show him up. When Im at a stereo show where other people are showing theirs off, I will join in and show off mine. But as far as driving down the road and blasting it, I avoid doing it.

But there has been more that one occasion that some kid in my neighborhood drives by my house blasting his shit in the middle of the night. I have gotten out of bed because I knew which house was his, and parked outside and blaired a 40hz test tone in his drive way. And then drove off.

some people i like to piss off so i dont mind outside the car, i dynamatted for rattle reduction. but whats the best way to make the sound waves travel and still be strong. i hear cars drive up and down the block shaking shit. and they got mostly weak systems just in suvs.

lol, i live in hawaii and people pound there shit all the time. except when they see a cop. they all are thinking the same thing, who has the loudest car driving by. most dont even care or even know about the difference inside the car. they all run the same shit too= jlw7, mtx9500, kicker solox, rockford, ma audio. almost all seem to think that jlw7's are imortal and cant be beat, ha ha lmao. ( i piss on jlw7's) and they dont even know that its not an spl sub. but anyways yeah they all do drivebys and that seems to be the thing to prove to others if your shit is good or not. hell the audio shops over here never heard of RE, ADIRE, MASSIVE AUDIO, IA, SHOCKER ETC. they even had the balls to tell me that those brands was lowend and that nothing can beat jl, or mtx. lmao. i tryed to get a shop down hear to meter a 12" re mt, when they looked at it, ( i shit u not ) they turned and told me that something was wrong with there meter so they couldnt test it. lmao they just didnt want there poor mtx 9500 do get beet.

I like to listen to my music loud sometimes, but I always have my windows up when I do. If I'm at a redlight or something, I always turn it down so the people around me don't have to listen to whatever I am.

To me, tones never sound all that loud outside the car. I think some of the lower bass songs actually sound louder. I actually don't even use subs for daily driving, the rainbows provide adequate bass

What would make 2 AQ HD312's sound loud outside?? Ofcourse i care more about if it sounds loud and better inside, but, When you and the boys are rollin up to a party, You gotta get that Shit to SLAP! My question really is, will 2 HD312's sound loud outside the car with 2000-3000 watts n a good install
