Budjet system need helpp

my friend is putting subs in his grand cherokee budjet is like $300-350 for sub(s) amp n everything.. I was thinking either 2 10s or one 12? any suggestions or anyone with a system they built for this price wud be great.. Right now hes looking at sony so he needs helpp haha.. thanks

Your post is way to vague to be able to get you started. $350 for sub and amp is a pretty tight budget. Does that include wiring? You can do a search, and a bunch of threads similar are out there to get you started in the right direction.

I would do a single ported 12 w about 500 watts

That should leave you enough money left over for a pack of gum

Alpine Type R 12", Dual 2 Ohm model so can be wired in series to a 4 Ohm load, $141.27/shipped

A while back I went to a stereo shop and asked the guy if he could hook me up for $300. The stuff I got was used but it was in great shape. 2 10" Fultron Competitions in a bandpass and a Crossfire bridged at 300 pushing them. I don't remember the exact model #'s on any of it but sometimes used is a good way to go.
