What Is the problem in my setup?

So, I have a 12" Fi Q and a American Bass VFL 80.1

I have a sealed small cube box, not sure of exact dimensions.

Also KLM 4 Ga Kit

But my friend has a type r that sounds louder than it. How can that be?

small sealed box? Besides, the FI Q is not SPL oriented

if your friends box is ported or he has optimum power that would make a big difference , also the type of vehicle and location of the box will make a difference

idk but it was facing the same way but it was huge liek as big as his whole trunk

Good chance he had a ported box then. I don't know what numbers the Fi Q puts up, but it's their sq line which means they weren't too concerned with how loud it got. Did yours at least sound better?
