biggest gimmick criteria needs to be set. When I think of biggest gimmick I think of something that is not needed in any way shape or form, but is sold or used to sell a product.

biggest gimmick criteria needs to be set. When I think of biggest gimmick I think of something that is not needed in any way shape or form, but is sold or used to sell a product.
So for me its a tie between bass boost and caps

To me a gimmick is a ridiculous or BS performance claim, or some gadget or feature that's either useless or doesn't work ... or a nice combination of those!

not so much the shops, the manufacturers ...... look at Vifa speakers as seperates then the CDT equivalent and you will see what I mean. Car stereo companies always jack the raw prices way up.

Caint blame 'em fer tryin' to get all the jack they can ... Jobs on you to find the best price, or don't buy the stuff that's over-priced. That right there brings the prices down.
