I am looking to do a few runs from the front to the back batteries. Average run of 20-25 feet i guess per run. Kicker 1/0 is 178 for 50 feet. I can get knu klmx for half the price. so 100 feet for 175. I am wondering if that klmx will hold up if I do 2 runs of power and 2 runs of ground from the front to the back along with 2 frame grounds in the back.

My electrical will be a 160-170 idle 250 max, and 3 batts in the back. The amp will be either an IA 40.1, sundown 3500, or RD 5750.1 something around 4k watts I will be pushing.

I was told the 40.1 draws 450 amp so 2 runs of power of klmx is 500amps capable didnt know if thats too close or what??

any help.

Thanks

I've never heard any bad about klmx but I've gone through 4 different pairs of knu rca's...biggest POS rca's I've ever seen.

klmx wouldn't necessarily be junk in terms of not handling the amount of power your running (yes, it doesn't handle as much as the kolossus) but it should still be fine for your needs.

Where it is junk is in terms of flexibility. I have a run of klmx 1/0 and a run of kollosus 1/0 sitting in front of me right now...and let's just say the kollosus looks and feels much nicer. Much easier to work with is the main difference, though.

that sucks, i need some long rca's to run from the radio to the back of the bed any ideas??

my runs will be along the frame anyway so no bends
