Well comparing subs...I took my 06 Saleen to a USACi show yesterday.....I didn't plan on entering...mainly just caring my CRX and some extra people wanted to ride....I saw in Street Beat 1 a guy ran using a JLW7 13 on 1800 or so watts in an SUV....I was thinking my little ole single DD 9510 in the trunk should be louder than his 139. something run...I was using about half the power....I said what th' heck...I paid my entry fee and did a 143.1 average started at over 143.5 ....This setup is a basic daily box tuned at 40hz....no SPL setup.....oh well anyway DD pwnd JL as usual....lol

A majority of those subs dont belong on a list with the DD99 or 95 series. Those are average SPL subs. Hes asking for THE BEST. Only one I can see being a good competitor for the best is the DD.
