what is the best spl sub?

crx i give u props, you have done well with the dd, keep it rollin..
Thanks...and you may notice I run different series and different setups....No one knows what to expect when I drive up...and as usual I got to demo and let people sit in the vehicles and experience DD's as usual....I know now there are more people running DD than I've seen in the past....Like the old saying goes "Once you go DD you won't go back...." Unless it wasn't installed properly...LOL

imo i think that is wrong! this forum doesnt help much anymore. i will awnser someone's question's if they ask! stop being so **** stuck up:crap:
I'm being stuck up for wanting the rules as posted by folks that saw fit to do so long ago to be followed....

Yep.

That makes sense.

The question posed by the OP is such an incredibly subjective subject (as evidenced by the resultant train wreck that this thread has become....just like all others like it that came before it hence the rule being put as a sticky to begin with) that there is no single "best" answer.

Sorry but Im not on Deedees nuts. Ive said before they get loud but sound like ***. IMO the top two SPL sub makers are T3 and DD. As far as sounding good and loud I wanna try a BTL for that and thats what my next sub will be.
coming forum a guy that had his box tuned to 50hz:eyebrow: like you will have SQ with a box tuned to 50 //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

Now there are a lot of good subs out there....but they will all sound like crap if not installed properly...DD's are some really good subs and have never let me down....But I still run different brands occasionally for personal use because I like experimenting and changes...I'm not that sold on brands...I'm sold on how it performs....If I find something that will beat my DD's...I'll give them a try ....after 3 and a half years there has been nothing...So why should I switch to something that can't beat what I already have //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif

WOW you can make a loud system. Now try SQ and see how you do. I can even get loud lets see-the right subs, alot of power a wall ok that covers it. I got 1/2 way loud even with an SQ car.

Old SQ System back in 2002-

2001 VW Jetta-1 old school RF Pro 12 on autotek AMX 100.2=138.6db car was tuned for SQ-sealed box firing up in trunk-wow that was easy and did not even have it up as loud as I could get it, at the shop got a 141.0 out of it. USACi SQ-IASCA SQ

Nothing against you SPL guys you just crack me up. I give my buddy that does SPL a hard time all the time. I know you guys are gonna flame now.LOL

DO I get credit for beating a JL back in 2002.LOL
