what is bad about car audio

pretty simple question...good is you get to feel the music you listen to with subs and some good speakers hear things loud and clear..but is there anything bad..like physically what subs will do to your car???all the vibrations cant it mess with your car?? or if you have like an older 90's car would all the vibrations shaking the whole car n everything..i know what it can do electrically with too much power to the battery and alternator n that but like actually physically to the car is theire anything people have to worry about??

depends on how far you take it. regular sound system generally dont hurt anything in the car but you start throwing 2 15's and 4k in power at it it can loosen / break a bolt hear or there.

If you run a setup loud enough to damage your car, you need to be more concerned with your hearing.

yeh didnt think it would do to much//i got 2 10'' infinity reference in a ported box with 800 watts n they hit for what they are really nice n i had them in a lancer n it just shook the shit out of that car it might be goin in a 93 cuutlass ciera if i get it i jus didnt wanna mess anything up on the car

Cost too much. When i think about it i wish i never started building my system. I could have traded in my explorer plus all the money ive spent already and got the truck ive always wanted. But oh well im too deep in it to back out now, but i do love bass. I figure ill still get the truck soon enough and ill have a badass system ready to install in it

You will lose a rearview mirrow...you will gain some squeaks and rattles. Windows sometimes fall of track....That is around 1.5k. I would hate to see those who have 3k as a DD.

i think the only downside to having a system is that its addictive and you will always want to spend more money for new toys and upgrades... but that isnt even so bad, what else is money good for? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif hearing issues arent i problem i dont think if you play it at responsible levels, and i think the most damage you can do is make your rearview fall off lol
