well i ask about it in a post on here and never really got a clear answer on wether or not it would work. so i decided to give it a try. whats so bad about it? why does it matter if it gets cold or not?

Gel cels can freeze somewhat easily. They are pretty fragile things. Since you already own it, might as well keep it. Just don't let it sit out in the cold too long.

well i'm leavin to texas in a month but for now i'm in utah so it does get pretty **** cold here at nights! it has to of already frozen by now. what happens when it does?

Im planing on getting an SAZ 2000D soon, and a small amp/ comps around June. So Im been guessing around 2500rms daily. I just need a second opnion on what should I get to run that much power. I already have an optima up front, and I beed debating about one int the back. Maybe and HC2000, or something. Just looking for opnions.

I would add that HC2000 to what you have, and do the big 3. In my setup I have a 250 amp Mechman alt though. Not sure if you want to go that route, but I have yet to see any dimming when I turn it all the way up.

My electrical is red top up front, HC800 in rear, big 3 in 1/0 and 250 amp Mechman. I was decent with the alt and battery, but to be safe and because I had it laying around, I added the HC800.

well i haven't noticed anything yet it still holds 12.9 when car is off between the two batts and i haven't noticed any difference when pounding so maybe i've gotten lucky so far.

Thats cool, just wanted you to know what you are up against. If it keeps working, no need to throw it away. Just a word of caution about the gel cell is all.

Yeah I'm trying to avoid an alternator at all cost. But I can get a deal on a 2400.

I was fine with an nsb 125 in the back when I was running ~2500 wrms. I had a stocker up front with 2 runs to the back, and I'd easily stay above 12.5v full tilt.

Yep a group 31 should handle about 2400W RMS.

again, what do you mean "handle". You say you don't know what you're talking about but then you act like you do. Are you just rambling ?

I can't tell you. If I did I might have to kill you. I know people who know people who know people. But it suppose to come out first quarter next year. Looking forward to it.j
