what do you think has better SQ L7 or btl I have 2 L7 12's and thay sound like shit for the most part i want to get some btl's or a Q but i want that spl so if you think the btl's SQ is worse then the L7 then i might go with the Q i just dont know

I'de reccomend a BL or Q.

How much power do you have? To get any sort of use out of the BTL's you need lots of power. L7's on the other hand not so much, a little more efficient but won't get as loud as the BTL's

Basically you need a badass upgraded electrical system if you want to run 2 BTL's anywhere near their potential. Agreed L7's are terrible sounding subs, if you don't make the right box for them.

The BL's are a solid choice if your wanting to stick with the FI brand

EDIT: You'll be serverly dissapointed if your switch from the L7's to the Q's, the gap in output between those 2 subs is pretty noticable

the btl an the l7 fail at sq. how loud do you want to go? the q's will do fine for loud daily but if your just going to throw a lot of power at them and know you have the spl itch go for the bls

This is the strangest thread I've seen in awhile. If you're buying either the BTL or a L7, then you don't care about SQ, so why are you asking which is cleaner? Which is louder is a better question. The Fi Q, on the other hand is the exact opposite of the BTL, as it's their SQ woofer and the BTL is their SPL woofer. So if you want a combination of the two, then go for the BL instead.

guys i know that they are not SQ subs i have the L7 and i know how they sound and they sound like shit but i can live with it but if thay where any worse i could not i am just trying to get an idea how the btl's would sound compared to the L7
