What going on with my sub?????

Did you give ram the tuning or did he come up with it based on the sub?

i suggested tuning to 27 or 28 and he came up with 31 so i went with it.

try turning your gains or boost down a bit

bass boost is off and gain is at 31 v.

Id still turn it down, im sure that LOC puts out 2volts at least

it is all sealed up. ram said it would be because of the subs soft parts, and of the higher box tuning. so ill guess ill just deal with it until i can get something with a stiffer coil. any suggestions? under $200 like 750 rms.

You can bottom a sub out in any box why would the designer matter?

it was that thread lol. and I'm not trying to gt to 20. just mid 20's lower if i can cuz i like the low sound. imma try adding a 3/4 piece of mdf along the whole port.
