What gauge wire?

I recently bought a Profile AP1200 amp to use for 2 10" rockford fosgate punch stage 1 subwoofers (150 watts rms, 300 peak). The amps watts are 200 rms x 2 at 4 ohm and 400 peak watts x2 at 4 ohm. I bought some boxes that were pretty much made already, but the wire inside is only 14 gauge, and im wondering if I should upgrade that wire to a lower gauge or if it's fine as it is.

Thanks //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

whoops, I do have one more question though. I currently have 8 gauge wire ran through my truck, and is it absolutely necessary to change it to 4 gauge for the amp?

Thanks

One last question... I ordered a 4 gauge amp wiring kit, so I should be able to just replace my current fuse with the 80 amp fuse I am getting, wire my amp like my current one is, and everything will be set to go? http://www.crutchfield.com/S-mBBcTqBkaQD/cgi-bin/prodview.asp?wm=fa&I=211AK4

Edit: forgot to mention I don't think I will be upgrading anytime soon by the way..
