memphis 1000d modification ?

i haven't heard of anyone modding the mephis's ... i'm sure there is a way, with enough effor. i have been referred to diyaudio.com before with questions like this

the 1000d's are a lil under rated I've heard they put out around 1300-1400....

Not understanding why everyone wants to mod their amps. Is a couple hundred extra watts, which wont make a difference in what you hear, worth removing the protectin?

If you like modding stuff, and become good at it, you could be the ModMan. Im sure qute a few people will want you to mod their amps........
