What gauge wire for these two amps?

For years I have believed this and generally get ridiculed for my opinion.
I don't fuse near the battery.

I don't fuse near the amps.

I run my wire where it cannot become pinched or cut and otherwise depend on the fusing in the equipment itself to protect it.

For years this has been my practice.

For years I've not had an occasion to regret it yet.

The flaw in your opinion is that you fuse the wire not to protect the equipment on the other side (well unless it states in the manual that an external fuse is needed) but to protect the wire itself. I've been doing it the same way since 1990.

Again, as previously stated I haven't had an occasion to regret my little policy as of yet.

It's pretty simple - don't overtax the wiring and the chances of fire are little to none.

wat about for ground, can i use 4 guage ground to distro, then 8 guage to each amp?
