What gage wire do i need? good brands?

Hi, i had another topic regarding what sub and amp to get and after a cluster fk of posts and research (thanks for everyone who helped! ) i bought this!

10 inch sub 600 watt max, 300 watt rms.

I think i need 8 gauge wire for this correct? need around 17 or 18 feet. I ordered this kit after being stupid and ordering a boss kit and falling for there BS again the wires were not true adv.

yeah that'll work (as long as it says copper, not cable u good) but it'll work anyway..
