you got issues then, wrong box/port somethin up whats the box size? whats it currently tuned to? is it wired right? theres to many factors than just thrown in it in a box and wondering why it sounds like ***....

but i guess to answer your question dd wants the boxs tuned to 40 , so in the car it has its natural lfe which will play under 40..... i use 33 for now doesnt play highs all that well, but the music i listen to doesnt have all that much higher bass anyways..... im sure if i tuned to 48-51 id be a bit louder....... but its outta my range of bass of my music..... also what series is it? older ones i had like the bigger boxs this new series i got likes a tad smaller.....

You have a pretty good sub, keep your head up. As already said, you can't just throw it in. When you get it right you will like it.

9515, not sure what size the box is but im pretty sure its like 3+cuft. everytime it hits it sounds like its ****ing farting. iv been messing around with the dials on the side of the amp and this red light flashes "clip". no idea what that means...

yeah you DONT wanna see that red light...

clip = clipping = sending a clipped signal to the subwoofer, which will kill it

its a 4cuft box with two port on either side of the sub, by the edges. what do you mean get it to 40 im looking at like 3 dials and i dont know which one to adjust:verymad:

lol...you need to measure the port(width, height, and depth) or simply build a new box. thats a great sub you just need to work with it a lil. reset ur gains so that ur not clipping it to death..

i think i bought it dead. when i saw clip i turned it down immediatly, just because flashing red lights dont sit well with me.
