What Flush Bit do you guys Use?

I usually use a Porter Cable 1" flush trim double fluted. They are designed for cutting veneers and laminates. HD should stock them, for about $35. At least the HD's I've been too all have them.

Try Sears if you can't find them at HD or Lowes. I've had good luck with Craftsman bits (cost less than Porter Cables and I've haven't broken any yet, not that a flush trim should ever break).

I basically use similar to what themommyvan posted. Except I use a 1/4" diameter bit. Takes away less material when cutting patterns, so a little easier on the router.
Is there an advantage to using a 1/2" shank or a 1/4" shank? All of my bits I use are 1/4, but my router accepts 1/2 normally without a collet...just wondering if there's any advantage to doing bigger with the shank size?
