Hey guys,
New to this site. Thanks for having me.
I have a question regarding my new set up. This is going in a 2014 F350 crew cab with the so called premium Sony sound system.
I have 2 Sundown Audio SD-3 10's that are going into a sealed 1m3 box behind the rear seat. These will be powered @ 1 ohm on a Hifonics Brutus BXI2010D. I will be leaving the head unit and speakers stock. Now this is where it gets interesting for me. I have an Audiocontrol Epicenter Plus that I ran in my old system.
The factory speakers and sub are amplified. So I will be grabbing my high level inputs from downstream of that amplifier.
Should I grab the speaker level inputs or the subwoofer level inputs to go the Epicenter?
Or do I require a summing unit such as the Audiocontrol LC6i? What kind of improvements would I gain with a summing unit?
Thanks!
