What do you use to mount your sub?

I had one that had broken teeth and the other actually broke the MDF apart and spun around that. It's hard to describe but basically about 1/8" of MDF decided to break apart at one layer and it tore a circle where the t-nut's teeth were. This made it just spin when I went to unscrew it. Before I put the sub in, I had one t-nut's teeth actually just fold down flat against the flange of the nut. That should have been a sign to me but I spent $10 buying the **** things. **** t-nuts.
