What do you use for braces in your box

i dont think you should make a box that small. with sub displacment your box will be so small its going to sound like garbage. try like 3.5 cubes at 35hz

O im sorry its going to be like 2.5 all together, I was doing the calculations for 1.2 for one sub then doubling it for the two. recommended ported for these is .8-1.6 so im going with like 1.2-1.3 each

i was going to do the 2x4 idea but they seemed too big so I am going to either use the extra mdf or get 2x4's and turn them into like 2x2's. 2 cu.ft. each before displacement sounds huge. the recommended is only 1.2. What about 2 cu.ft. all together after displacement, just an even 2 so 4cu.ft. total.

ok i cut everything for my box today. have plenty of leftover MDF. the box's outer dimensions are 44.25"(L)x 15"(D)x 15"(H) which comes out to which is 3.59 cubes which is 1.795 per sub net. (not including braces if i use those.) i want to use glue and im wondering if i should predrill holes then put dowels in or make braces out of MDF?

make cross braces with the mdf (and by cross brace I mean 2 pieces glued/screwed together with the top and bottom/back and front braced by it. Works like a charm. I don't think you'll need bracing for those subs though, especially if you're doing a slot port. the port will act as a brace
