Box plans for 12" Fi BL (need box gurus approval)

I'm bout to build my first box, here are the dems. for it.

box w-31

box h-15

box d-16

wood thinkness-.75

port h-13.5

port w-2.5

port length 1-12.75

port length 2-8

box volume ~2.8

tuned to ~32

I've never designed a box and don't know if the port is fine like i designed it.

If one of you box gurus could just look over it that'd be great thx.

you can try re audio's box calculator to check it i think, i used it today and it seemed like it works perfectly. if thats what you did already then i think you should be fine...

you want it tuned that low. i thought that the bls would like a higher tuned box.... probably wroung though.

any ways, box sounds right.

fi recommends the bl's at a tuning of 32hz, so hes good there.

just make sure theres enough port area and enough volume inside the box including sub and port displacement it will sound great
