subs are decent

1) trash the prefab box. If yer gonna destroy the potential of the subs with a prefab box, you might as well save your money and buy crappy subs.

2) it would be easier to use 1 amplifier (in terms of getting the gains exactly the same for each sub, which can be difficult with two separate amps), but that will work.

3) upgrade your electrical, 1500RMS is going to call at least for more battery power and a big3 mod

Id sit down and figure out exactly what all you will be installing for amperage consumption and add another 10-15% amperage useage on top of that...
