What Do You Think Of This Car - Old School Goodness

Flip-that might be reasonable but I almost never drive on the freeway. I guess its a matter of how close his school is to him and how much you baby that gas pedal.

90% of my driving is highway...so I tend to only think in those terms....Properly calibrated, carbs aren't too bad compared to fuel injection.

Honestly after my 2 tickets i dont pedal too much , i barely do 5 over anymore. And i live exactly 12.5 minutes from my school 1 way. So if i get a job close i might be able to get away with 1 or 2 fill-ups a week.

It has dual exhaust with chrome tips and i was thinkin gloss black and the part on the hood now that is black would be flat black. I think that would look great. Or even a gloss grey.
Edit: Im waiting for my parents to consider it. lol.

If i did a sound system in it i would go for total SQ in this. I wouldnt want to butcher completely, maybe a ID or Diamond sub with some nice 6.5 comps and maybe even 6x9s just ot fill the original hole in the back. Id run passive though lol.
Yeah dont do nothing crazy. Keep it as original as you can. People think by adding rims and tvs add vaule to your car, when it doesnt.

Yeah, i wanted to do all the to my 9x something 4runner that i wanted but i see no use in butchering a classic just so people can say "DAYUUUUM you got a TV in yo dash" I still need tunes but i would do it right for a classic car. HU under the dash with original still in dash and all that.

Ummm, im pretty sure its a carbi looked around under the hood and i honestly cant even remember.
It is...I can't think of many domestic big cars that had FI until the 1980s. First that comes to my head is the 3800 series...that may have been TBI, which is not FI.

Only time I ever touch the freeway is to go to the airport.

Maybe I'm off. I have a bunch of friends with 70' chevelle's, chargers, dusters, 442's, and they're all getting

i think the 79 Fox Body had a TBI but i dont know anything before that either. I never understand electrical wires and stuff running down the middle of a carb type piece to make it TBI but i dont like them anyway. I am a carb guy.
