What do you think of my install?

yeah, but the nails gotta go. I said i liked his system overall but i would fix the nail problem and make the box look nice before i layer it with paint or carpet.
I don't see anything wrong with the whole box //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif. Your ports looks small //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

who said somebody wanted a pretty box?

uglier=louder

the only thing i would suggest about the box is bolt it down, instead of those braces you have for it to keep it from sliding. thats what those wooden things are right? im assuming.

great assumption though

you should have spent a little more time and effort on that thing in your trunk //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif
I second what mazdakid said....in MY honest opinion, the original posters box looks better then what endofdays posted up.

I mean, yea it could be carpeted, but I personally like the look of an uncarpeted box in some vehicles..but thats my opinion.

It's his first box man, cut him slack. He did a **** nice job for a first time..

Do you need special subs to do that? How is the output compared to a ported box?
low FS, high Qts (>.5) is usually ideal, but there can be some exceptions, since the idmax's qts is lower than .5

I would say the output is similar, but not as much. I'd take more efficiency, more ability to get low with less watts over a little more output any day. I've had Idmax's sealed, ported, and IB in my car. I would say IB is the cleanest and lowest out of the 3.
