What do you think of my install?

the amp and alpine type r is good but the box is pretty bad to be honest with you. I know how hard it is to build custom boxes but its pretty good for your first system.

Whats so bad about the box other than the fact that its not carpeted? Its my first one and its got a slanted front, like a trapezoid.

take a hammer and knock the screws in more and then sandpaper around the screws just a little bit. After you do that then either paint it or carpet it. If you touch it it might poke you, seriously. Your system over all is pretty good. At least your powering your single 12 very well with the alpine amp.

Haha, wtf... really!?!?! Thanks mom

this is not funny man.... somebody could get seriously injured. Who the hell wants some **** nails stickin out of the enclosure. The enclosure is supposed to be an art to make everything look good. A smooth box always looks prettier, and more people will say wow!

If you want something to be done right it comes with time and effort>

i think the OP's box looks great.. hell it looks better than a lot of first timers boxes IMO.. including mine.. carpet always helps, but hell as long as he's happy then thats all that matters.. very nice work on the wiring as well..
