well its a pre-fabbed box and for $400.00 u can get like 1 15'' sub and amp or even better on here that will be alot louder just my 2cents

I know people will hate me for this but o well.
If you need something that bad. I would go out and buy 2 audiobahn AW120t from sonicelectronix.com for the $50 they cost. Then have somone build you a 4cu ft box tunned to 37hz per recomended tunning. then throw a rockford fosgate P800.2 from the older punch series. Then buy some of knu 4 ga or 2 ga, and some knu RCA.

Thats:

subs: $100-$125

Box:$100-$150+ shipping (or local is better)

Amp: $125-$150 (ebay)

wiring: $75

Total: $400 to $500 maybe better if you buy used wire and shit. Granted audiobahn isnt great but I have a aw120t and I used to throw 300w to it off a P300.2 in a sealed box and it was fine. Just dont brag about it, you are going the cheap way out. Like others said. Spend some time, research, and look for deals. You dont have to buy it all at once. Amp=

Either a Boss BLX3500M or Hifonics Brutus 2000

Subs=

1 Audioque HD3 15" or theres is a store closing out around here thats selling 10" type S's for $30. So I could go with 4 of those.

Let me know what you guys think, i'm allways open to listening. Also this set up is going into a suv.

I'm also looking for an amp thats gonna push 2000 rms at 1 ohm.

If anyone knows of any adds on here in the FS section for some subs and amps, it would be great if you could point them out.

Unless you are going to spend another $400+ on batteries and electrical, about 600-1000 watts is all you can safely handle without dimming.

dimming isnt thatbigif a deal, and if it was, you dont need 400 bucks of shit to fix it.

I'd go with the Alpine 10's since you can get them cheap. Borrow a couple of saws and slaughter your own box. ( You will only learn by trying several people on here will help you out with a design and any questions) Buy you a decent used 800 - 1000 watt amp. You can get audiopipe 4 guage kits on ebay for $35 plus shipping not the best but they get the job done.

What do you mean? You would need to do big 3, new battery, maybe even a HO alt to fix that.

Dimming is the smallest issue here. If you try to run 2000w off of stock electrical, it might pull so many amps/volts from the bat/alt it would kill your vehicle.

actuly, I run 1200w with an efficent amp, at 2 ohm, running 2awg on one interstate batt and it will pull down to 12v on some songs. I usualy back off before it gets low though. thats with a 120amp alt. anyone recomend volfenhag yet? I know a guy who ised to run 2 12"s in a 33hz box and it it hit pretty hard for 150rms each. we ran it on 400w each once and it was pretty loud but the cones got a little warm.
