What do you guys use for speaker terminals?

Im looking to get some speaker terminal cups for my new box, but not sure where to get them. Also heard i can use bolts + ring terminals to connect wire? Dont seem like thatd get a good connection though. Im thinking about just drilling a hole and running my wires through with no terminals or anything in between the sub and amp, seems like thatd be the best connection possible. Opinions?

I believe thats what ill do, but speaker terminals would be convenient too. Id like the best connection though so thatll stick unless i find terminals somewhere

x2, drill the hole small enough so the wire has a tight fit. Using some caulking/silicone or some kind of boot wouldnt hurt, but if the hole is small enough, it should create a decent seal.

Rope caulk ftw, useful stuff, I use it on the subs mounting lip too.

i thought current traveled across the surface of the material, not through it, so in this case wouldnt a direct wire connection be infinitely better than any bolt or speaker terminal?
