I tried sealed forward didnt like the sound for daily...fwiw the loudest trunk cars are subs and port forward with the box pulled as far away from the cabin opening as possible

I've actually tried forward firing with quite a few of my setups and it never had the output that rear firing, or even up firing did. granted none of those were sealed. Prolly gonna do what basswiigee said and stuff some blankets/clothes/wtf ever else around thebox and make a makeshift seal and see how that sounds before actually sealing it.

and I'm going for a loud daily, not shooting for numbers and forward firing just couldn't really hit lows like itcould rear firing.

Yea i lost alot of low end output vs rear fire

yeah that's what I'm thinking is going to happen, still gonna give it a shot, using an aero so i can try firing toward the drivers side as well. testing is 50% of this hobby anyway right? lol

Yup its the only way to truly find whats best for ur car/setup..good luck ..post some pics
