What do you guys think of the Iphone?

theyre garbage. apple is garbage as well. theyre newest macbooks are outdated and you cant upgrade like you can with an HP or any other PC/Laptop. customer service is a joke and products seem destined to break within 6 months so you can go get the new thing out.

i have the 3G S and personally i love it (even tho apple could of changed the apperance alittle //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/verymad.gif.3f39c5c2fd57527b671fad3efdfac756.gif), Great for killing time on the forums, playing games, listening to music, and the battery life is great compared to the regular 3G, also the S is MUCH faster so multi tasking is easy, and the over all layout of the iphone is great and easy to look at, iv been thro many phone and eventually get tired of them but the iphone is just to easy to look at

and with the new OS 3.0, it is what it should be for the price....

the warrenty thing is kinda shitty but.... if you have the Phone you can afford a new one and apple knows that, Marketing!

And BTW the camera on the IPHONE is far greater in quality i have seen compared to other phones.

this is why apple sucks. hey spend $600 then we'll cut that in half. then the shit breaks - you're out all that...

OH HEY we got a new version, come spend $2-300 more... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif

I like my iPhone for the fact it's functional. Obviously surfing the web on it is a pain but if I need to it's there. I fall in love with it all over again when I find apps that are practical. I downloaded xGPS on Tuesday because I forgot my Garmin in my van and it was really good for a free app. Turn by turn audible directions that said street names aloud, rotated with you and gave the same info as my Garmin. It's a phone. Everything else is just extra IMHO, and that's why I like it. Saying an iPhone is overpriced is just a punk-out. If you mod your phone, which is easy as hell for anyone with an IQ above 50, there is nothing you can't do on it that another phone can. Nothing.

well apple offers erly replacement but still witch you pay quite a bit for....

also when i had my world blackberry from alltel i paid 10$ extra a month for insurance and when i droped it and broke the screen they wouldnt replace it either..... so personally insurance has never been on my top prority...

if you are careless and stupid with your phone DONT get the IPHONE.... go get a Nextel!

act like you aint know
no i really didn't know who steve jobs is. plus, his nuts my be a little tooo wrinkly for my taste.

as for the warranty of the iphone, course it's gay that ATT doesn't sell it but it's like the 360, they give you a such amount and expect you to buy their extended warranty(as i did when i got my elite).

with the iphone, you can purchase 2yrs of warranty with Squaretrade(as i recently did for my 3GS). so in 2 years, i'll be due for an upgrade anyways.

apples warranty does **** as it only covers manufacture defects. squaretrade covers the whole thing, drop, swim, piss on, shit on, lost stolen w/e.

What is squaretrade never heard of it?

The iPhone is overpriced. It serves no function I actually need. They have this new thing...very very new called a map. Stay with me now, but a map can show me exactly how to get from point A to point B. The map never needs batteries and you can use it as often as you'd like. For resturants, they have another new thing called the yellow pages...you can flip through the yellow pages and find any resturant in the town.

I think the iphone is a gimmick and I wouldn't spend $50 on it. It just doesn't do anything I actually need.
